"Friendship" is the kind of movie that will only work for you if you're already a fan of Tim Robinson. It's basically a full-length “I Think You Should Leave” sketch, and that’s exactly what I wanted. It’s weird, absurd, and sometimes hilarious for no reason other than Robinson being Robinson. It’s not even directed by him, but it’s clearly written for him—and he owns it. It’s one of the most bizarre yet entertaining experiences I’ve had in a theater this year.
